My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

IDGSR WELCOMES SHEBA INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!

Sheba came to IDGSR several months back, she was on medical hold due to severe neglect and medical, She is doing really well and is a very loving and sweet girl. Sheba was turned into the shelter with a broken rear leg, the owners lied and told the shelter people that it had happened a few days prior,
being a critical case and she was hurting and couldn't put weight on her back leg,
and at that time believing what these people said, IDGSR pulled her otherwise
she was going to be destroyed.

IDGSR incurred some hefty vet bills and had Sheba checked out well.
Sheba's back leg was previously broken but it was Months before, not days.
Remodeling had already begun and the vet stated that it was best to leave alone or surgery could complicate things. The good news is that Sheba with many months of crate and house rest has done well, she walks fine on her back leg although with a slight limp, she will not be a running partner or avid hiker but an easy going light walk would be just fine with her.
Sheba's is also a good watch dog, she is a little protective of her home when she bonds to her people. She is very loving, takes a little time to know you but I can tell you, greeting her with some bacon and you have a friend for life.
Sheba would be great for folks who have a quiet lifestyle, one where she can be the princess and get lots of love. Sheba would make a great companion for retirees or folks that are homebound alot.
Sheba is approx. 3-4 yrs. old.
If you would like to make Sheba a member of your family, please copy and paste the link below to our application page and fill out, we will call you to discuss it.
