My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Champ! This is one VERY sweet beagle. He is 30 pounds and around 8 years old. Champ was rescued from being euthanized from a very small animal control in Ohio. All he wants is a family to love. He is a complete snuggle bug! He's extremely quiet. Never makes a peep. Despite having lost his vision, he walks well on a leash and absolutely LOVES going outside to explore on walks. He is mostly housebroken and gets along great with everyone; kids of all ages, dogs and cats. Champ would love to find a family of his own. If you have love to give and would like a furry family member that will love you, snuggle you and complete you, Champ might be the dog for you.
Champ would love to find a home with a fence because he loves spending as much time as possible sniffing for squirrels and soaking up the sunshine, but it is not a necessity for adoption.
Champ had his eyes removed in November and has completely recovered. He is pain free and feeling like a puppy again! Champ is a special needs doggie and would benefit most from a family who can help him adapt to his surrounds and help him to enjoy life to the fullest. He gets around very well and would be a wonderful addition to a loving family.
