Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Heidi: Are you the king here? You look like a king. Andrews, the Butler: Ah, little Fräulein, if only the rest of the world could see through your eyes. Hmm, quite a personage, under that extraordinary hat. - from 'Heidi' 1937
Just as little Heidi won the hearts of millions with her innocence and unconditional love and loyalty so will our own baby girl Hidey (okay maybe not millions but without a doubt all who meet her). Our Hidey is just as sweet and adorable as the human version but much prettier we think. Hidey is a 10 month old heeler/Catahoula mix with a patch of different colors over and around her beautiful eyes. She currently weighs 35 lbs and will likely not get any bigger than 40 lbs full grown. The word precious does not even begin to describe everything about this little darling. Hidey is both house and crate trained. She is a mild mannered girl, a bit shy and quiet at first meeting, but kisses will be forthcoming. Foster mom says she is learning some basic commands now that she has gained more confidence in herself. She continues to improve her leash skills. She responds better to a body harness at present but is being worked with on collar and leash training. Hidey very much enjoys her playtime outside where she can run around or just relax on some sweet grass. She is well mannered inside and enjoys her people time just as much. She is a wonderful companion to children and plays very well with other dogs. There are no cats in her foster home but we tend to think she would be fine with felines based on her calm personality. Hidey is already spayed, up to date on all of her vaccinations, and current on all preventatives. The only thing missing is a loving forever home. We bet if the rest of the world could see through her quiet loving eyes, they would see a little girl looking at the king (or queen) who will love and protect her for the rest of her life. Could it be that you are the one she is waiting for? Even if you aren't really a king or queen, you will surely look like one to her...the king/queen of her heart.
