Missy is an adorable 6-7 year old papillon rescued from a puppy mill. She was "lucky" compared to the other dogs there and was allowed to run loose as a "farm dog" sometimes instead of living caged around the clock like most of the dogs there. She is a little timid but warms up quickly and craves attention, and is looking for a calmer home with another friendly dog to help her feel more comfortable. This adorable little family was rescued from a puppy mill today! Mommy Missy is a 7 year old papillon who finally earned her freedom after a life of breeding. Her most recent mate toy fox terrier Phineas was lucky and got out at only 11 months old, and apparently there is no market for papillon/fox terrier mix pups in the pet stores so we got her 3 month old boy pups Presto and Primo, as well as Phineas' "cousin" Phoebe another young toy fox terrier! They all are loving having a clean bed to sleep on for the first time in their lives tonight! They are all a little timid but warming up and all wagging their little tails for attention already! We do not have a shelter- all our pets are in foster homes and can be seen by appointment only during the week, or at our weekly pet adoptions every Sunday at the Animal Clinic of Morris Plains from 12:30 to 3PM at 3009 Route 10 East next to 5 Star Car Wash (formerly Boulder Car Wash) in Morris Plains (Denville on GPS).
