Zoey I SMILE!!!!!'s Story...
This gal was a victim of divorce.. THIS dog was sent off to be trained by the family and is a very well mannered gal, that also Likes cats and knows several commands. Please contact us if you are interested. She is your typical high enerygy weim/lab mix, so an active family is a must for her and a place to run and play. All the staff work wtih the dogs and most are KENNEL trained during their stay with us, but that doesnt mean HOUSETRAINED! This particular dog was turned over by owners and we were told there she was housetrained.......again that doesnt me we know for sure, these are dogs and you must be willing to work wtih them and get that job done yourself. All of our dogs receive extra love and attention. They are tested for Heartworms, vaccinated, spay/neutered, microchipped and Revolution flea/tick applied prior to adoption. We REQUIRE an approved application including vet reference for adoption and a home visit in some circumstances. Each dog will be placed in a home that is appropriate for that dog and we reserve the right to deny adoption for any reason.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoey I SMILE!!!!!, a Newburgh Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner for sale in Newburgh, or seeking a Weimaraner dog from a breeder in Newburgh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newburgh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newburgh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner breeders who help with Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newburgh paves the way for another one to be saved.
