Here's what the humans have to say about me:
What likes to sleep upside down like a bat, can jump as high as a kangaroo and loves to bounce around like a bunny? An Etta that's what. This funny little flop eared, bo-legged lady found her way to us after her owners threw her into the vestibule at our vet's office and left. Only 4 months old when she became a Ruff Starter, Etta had cherry eye in both eyes, which required multiple surgeries, a strict medication regiment and quite a bit of time in the vet's office. Now 10 months old, 11 lbs. and completely healthy, our resident Chuggle (Chihuahua, Pug, Beagle we think!) is thoroughly enjoying her cone-free life! Etta Bean can be a wee bit shy when she first meets new adults but she warms up quickly and once she does, she loves to be snuggled and kissed. She also thoroughly enjoys the company of other dogs, large and small, and completely lights up when she is with kids. In fact, she is happiest napping on the couch with the kiddos in her foster home. Miss Bean is looking for an active family who will take her for fall walks so she can pounce on blowing leaves, make sure she has plenty of toys and playtime and will cuddle up with her at the end of the day. Since she is still a puppy, Etta will need a patient family to continue working with her on her manners and housebreaking, though she is catching on quickly to using pee pads. Etta Bean is crate trained, spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Miss Etta, please fill out an application at ruffstarthappytails.org
