My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MISS PEANUT and RILEY ROO - Miss Peanut (Puggle, female, 9 years) and Riley Roo (Beagle, male, 8 years) are a bonded pair who think they are actually brother and sister - don't try to tell them otherwise! Miss Peanut doesn't act her age. While she's well-mannered and loves to snuggle on your lap, if there are squirrels to chase, she'll keep at it for hours. She would love to have a fenced-in yard where she can play. Riley Roo is a cuddler who loves to play outside, but also likes to have plenty of time for naps - especially if he can burrow his face under a blanket! He greets everyone happily and is easygoing all around. Both dogs are housetrained and don't need to be crated. We are told by the shelter that sent them to Peppertree that they are fine with cats. We know from their foster family that they are great with kids! These two lovable seniors have proven to their foster family that two dogs are no more work than one, and will come to their lucky adopters with a special reduced adoption fee.

** If you are interested in adopting this dog, you must first complete an adoption application at http://peppertree.org/adoptapp.php. Or visit our site (http://peppertree.org/adoptlist.php) and learn about other Peppertree dogs. *Note: visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
