ALLIE, approximately 2 years old, 12 lbs, heart worm negative, sweet adorable Allie is a tad scared in the noisy shelter environment but still friendly, she is okay being picked up but you just need to tell her what you are doing and go a bit slower, once she gets out of the shelter environment she will relax and come into her own, she shows her bouncy cheerful side as she cruises around the yard, very happy being outside, mellow, reserved, she is okay sitting in your lap for pets and it helps relax her and allow her to become more comfortable with you, she has had puppies in the past and is glad that part of her life is over, she is such a sweetheart and looking forward to a new forever home, since she is a bit nervous the shelter recommends no small children in her home, Allie will be a dedicated friend and companion.

Let’s get ALLIE extra shares so she can find her forever home.
ALLIE is available from Tehama County Animal Care Center. 530.527.3439.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Allie, a Red Bluff Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Red Bluff, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Red Bluff.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Red Bluff already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Red Bluff breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Red Bluff paves the way for another one to be saved.
