Dallas's Story...
Dallas is an American Staffordshire Terrier that is getting close to his 3rd birthday. He knows and does his obedience without treats, plays well with other dogs but prefers females. He's worked hard to be a good pack member - prefers to be your #1 dog and go everywhere with you, especially on truck rides. He likes to guard food from others and a verbal correction is all it takes. He's neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, kennel trained, hates thunderstorms, loves cuddling, enjoys kisses, and has been known to sleep in bed with his people. What he's lacking? A home of his own. Interested? All you need to do to make this fantastic dog your own is fill out an adoption application at www.schoolofwags.org

Texas adopters only, please!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dallas, a Killeen Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Staffordshire Bull Terrier for sale in Killeen, or seeking a Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Killeen.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Killeen already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Killeen breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Staffordshire Bull Terrier breeders who help with Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Killeen paves the way for another one to be saved.
