Scotty's Story...
You couldn't possibly find a nicer puppy. He is full of life and fun and cute as a bug. He loves everyone and everything. He smiles all the time and wiggles with happiness. He loves kids and other dogs, and squeaky toys are such a cool invention. He is having a blast meeting all the dogs. I think he feels like he is at doggie day care and I know he's wondering why he can't go home. Scotty was someones baby but they didn't have time for him. :(
We were glad to welcome him to the gang. Loving him just isn't that time consuming and he just isn't that hard. He's a very good boy. Scotty is a Border Collie/Shepherd cross. He is about a year old. He is neutered, up on vaccinations, micro chipped and potty trained. He needs a family, who has the time to love him. He needs a fenced yard and it would be super fun if he had kids and other dogs to play with. Please call Lorrie 208 339 0130 or email kjfam@dcdi.net for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scotty, a Montpelier German Shepherd Dog/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Border Collie for sale in Montpelier, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Montpelier.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Montpelier already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Montpelier breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Border Collie breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Montpelier paves the way for another one to be saved.
