Petey: portrait of a family dog. Petey is a 1-year-old, male, mix-breed... a hefty portion of retriever with a splash of clown added to the blend. Petey is bright and active, but not hyper pup, who loves human company and plays well with other dogs of all shapes and sizes. Not a jumper or a barker, Petey will fit well into a family with younger children or older adults. Forty pounds (+a few) and heart worm negative, this healthy, happy youngster will need regular exercise, to keep him in tip top shape.

We have an application process to ensure that each dog and family is the right match. All applications must be approved prior to adoption. If you would like to start the application process to find out if you would be a good match, below are the instructions to our online application.
Your completed application is auto-emailed to our organization for review once you hit submit . Please also inform the foster once you have submitted. All questions MUST be answered. If a question doesn't apply, just put "NA". You will receive an auto-reply thanking you for submitting your application. Please allow us some time for review!
