It's always a sad story when an owner has to give up his or her pet. There can be many different reasons, but the result is that the dog needs a new home. Birdo is one of those dogs. Here is what Birdo's owner has to say about her:
Birdo is a very sweet dog with all people (including kids). She loves to cuddle and will sleep by your side all day. She is accustomed to sleeping on the floor in her doggie bed, but also loves sleeping in beds with people. She is low energy, but loves to go on daily walks. She also enjoys playing with toys, but has a tendency of tearing them up if unsupervised.
Birdo is being re-homed because she has had a couple of incidents with another dog in the house. She can get along with other dogs, but there are certain situations that can trigger altercations. It is preferred for her to go to a home where she will be the only dog in the house.
Birdo is fully potty trained, crate trained, and does well on a leash. However, she has a tendency to pull when she comes across other dogs or animals.
