Eclipse's Story...
Sprightly little imp with extra toes seeks happy home for cuddles and play time. Comes complete with loud purr, lots of leopard-y spots, and irresistible eyes.

Eclipse is a 5-month-old kitten who started life in a feral colony. He was lucky enough to be trapped and decided that life with humans is the place to be. He will probably start out shy, but his basic personality is outgoing and inquisitive. He needs a home that will give him time to adjust. Coax him with food and toys, then gently start scratching his chin: that purr will rev up and you'll have a pal for life.

Eclipse may need reminders that hands are not toys, but he is super-gentle with his paws. He would love a kitty-pal who's up for energetic play. He should live happily with gentle children and cat-savvy dogs.

If you are interested in finding out more about Eclipse, please fill out an application on our website. Eclipse is being fostered in the PetSmart in Cambridge.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Eclipse, a Worcester Hemingway/Polydactyl kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hemingway/Polydactyl for sale in Worcester, or seeking a Hemingway/Polydactyl kitten from a breeder in Worcester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Worcester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Worcester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hemingway/Polydactyl breeders who help with Hemingway/Polydactyl rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Worcester paves the way for another one to be saved.
