My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charlie is a 2 year old neutered chocolate male Lab who weighs 57 pounds. Charlie is an owner surrender to the shelter. His owner said "he wouldn't stop running off". That is what happens when you are young and bored! Charlie is a typical young, energetic lab looking for a family that will give him direction, exercise, love, and fun. He is a very sweet and friendly dog and knows "sit". Because Charlie is young and will do best with direction and guidance, he will have a training addendum. Charlie is good with other dogs. From the vet: Charlie knows sit, is very friendly, strong, and happy! He is approved for kids 10+.

Update (11/01): Charlie is a very friendly and energetic boy. He likes to be outside and loves for someone to pet him. He's food motivated and knows sit, shake, and lay down. He's a little nervous/uncertain at times, but otherwise he just seems curious, and he likes to play.

Update (10/30): Charlie is very curious and thrilled to be out of the kennel. He and the resident male Lab got along from the time he showed up. After wandering around and running around the yard he took some time to relax and get comfortable. Even though he was full of energy after arriving yesterday, he stayed in bed and slept through the night. He was great on the car ride. He can sit, shake, and is working on lay down. He is eager to please and such a sweet, handsome boy!

Update (10/29): Charlie is a handsome, sweet and energetic boy. He is looking for a family that will give him the love and exercise that he so deserves. He is very friendly to people and is a happy guy. Going to training classes with his new family will be a wonderful way to bond as they start their life together.
