Flanagan's Story...
If you are looking for a cat that CONSTANTLY wants to be with you, draped on your shoulders or cuddled in your arms Flanagan is the cat for you! He is the perfect addition to any home. Darling little Flanagan was saved from the Lancaster shelter where he and he brother Pablo became sick with upper respiratory (common cold-caused from stress) and were scheduled for euthanasia. The boys were so sweet and we just knew we had to save them. Flanagan is approx. 8 mos old. Up to date on shots and has tested negative for Felv/FIV.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Flanagan, a Santa Clarita Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Santa Clarita, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Santa Clarita.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Clarita already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Clarita breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Clarita paves the way for another one to be saved.
