Benedict's Story...
This one-of-a-kind cutie is 4 month old Benedict and he is looking for his loving forever home. Cats can live to be 15-20 years old so he is looking for someone who will be in it with him for the long haul. He'll need tons of toys, love, and stimulation to be happy. Benedict came to us with a pretty serious wound on his leg but with the help of our expert veterinary staff he has made a quite an improvement and is ready to go home. He is an affectionate snuggler, who is quick to purr. Right now he is pretty mellow but that may change as he continues to feel better. Benedict seems fairly comfortable around other cats and can live with an active adult. He needs a home without any dogs because he finds them overwhelming. Since he is still on the mend, Benedict needs a home with older children or adults only. If Benedict seems like the kitten for you, please come to the front to fill out an adoption application so you can meet him today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Benedict, a Bellingham Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
