Luke's Story...
My name is Luke and I’m a 2 year old min pin /chihuahua mix who was being given away for free outside at a yard sale. Fortunately, a KC volunteer was nearby and took me. I am as cute as I look so I will steal your heart when you meet me. I am a typical small dog breed in that I tend to be a bit in the nervous side. I am in professional training to work on my insecurities and to teach me the proper behaviors that my previous owners neglected to do. I am doing very well… responding and learning quickly. I am also doing well with other dogs and yes, I am a little intimidated by the big ones (until I am sure they are not going to eat me!) My trainer says I am doing well considering that I (probably) had no interaction with big dogs. I am a happy guy and hope that a new, loving and forever home is out their for me. I’d do good with a family that has quality time to give to me. Interested applicants will be able to talk with my trainer.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luke, a Medford Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher for sale in Medford, or seeking a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Medford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Medford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Medford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Medford paves the way for another one to be saved.
