My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET VALENTINO!

This adorable little guy is wonderful, good natured and happy. He ADORES his humans and loves to be with them. He also does fine with other dogs once he knows them. He can get a bit overwhelmed with bigger, pushier dogs and will correct them with a let me alone kind of bark. He gets along well with all his tiny foster brothers and sisters, which includes 3 yokes and a Chihuahua.
He takes treats nicely, and waits his turn when they're given out. He doesn’t attempt to steal the others treats. He loves children, and does fine with his foster's grandkids, ages 7 through 13. We are told he lived with children ages 2 through 10 and interacted well with them and was gentle towards them.
He LOVES his toys, but does not guard them from the other dogs. He does play growl, but does not bite or attempt to bite. He is NOT aggressive in any way. He will alert you to strangers at the door by barking and he does bark when they come into the house, but stops when you tell him NO.
He does have some separation anxiety when you leave, nothing concerning, he is not destructive at all, but will bark or whine when you leave. But he does stop after you are gone, and is sooo happy to see you upon your return.

Valentino is house trained. He has been alone 4 hrs at the most in his foster home, and is fine during the night. He is not crated and is not destructive. He doesn't attempt to run away in the yard, would rather stay by your side. He is great on the leash.

Valentino is a bundle of love, fun to have, and well mannered. He becomes quickly attached, always ready to be loved, and will be the joy of your life.

Valentino is utd on his shots, chipped and neutered. He is about five yrs old and weighs about 11 lbs.
