Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Petey is a 5 year old double dapple. He was born deaf and visually impaired with only minimal sight in one of his eyes. In spite of this, he is happy, friendly and he gets around just fine! He's otherwise completely healthy and needs to be adopted into a family where he can be part of a little dachshund pack. At first we thought he needed to stay with his mama Phoebe, but now that he is settled into his foster home, he really likes to venture off on his own, or he'll follow other dogs around, and they don't seem dependent on each other at all. Petey likes to lay next to you on the couch or he'll snuggle up with the other dogs. He's a really sweet little guy!
