TITO's Story...
Sweet Tito came to our rescue from the dreaded high kill shelter we always talk about. He was on the euthanasia list because he was severely underweight and has some very treatable skin issues. He has spent the last month or so getting healthy and learning how to be part of a family. Tito is most likely a German Shepherd/ lab mix and is just the sweetest boy. He is great with other dogs and children. For an adoption application on Tito please email us at wilsonanimalrescue@yahoo.com. The adoption fee for Tito is $250 and includes up-to-date shots(including Parvo, Distemper, Bordetella, and Rabies) and heartworm prevention. It also includes his fecal/deworming, microchipping, neutering, and deworming.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

TITO, a Memphis German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Memphis, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Memphis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Memphis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Memphis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Memphis paves the way for another one to be saved.
