Hello. My name is, Rhett. I am named after Rhett Butler from Gone with the Wind. The rescue thinks that I am a 2 year old lab /bloodhound mix. I am a very energetic and sweet guy! I can run really fast and jump very high. If I were human, I’d be superman wearing a fur coat instead of tights and a cape. Thankfully, I am not a human because I’ve been fixed, and I would look a bit weird wearing tights, if you know what I mean ;)

I love human interaction, and I am happiest when I am with a human who shows me attention and loves me. In exchange, I’d nuzzle my new owner and give lots of sloppy kisses.I do not like being alone, it makes me very sad. So I prefer that my new owner hug, cuddle, and spend time with me as often as possible! I’m also very good on a leash, so my new owner would have lots of fun taking me on walks!

I find other animals, especially those furry little felines, very interesting; to say the least. I am just not sure what to make of them. They are so soft and smell so good I can’t stop wondering about them!
I am a big puppy, I weigh 100lbs. So it might be best not to allow small animals or children around me unsupervised as I get so happy with the extra attention that I could accidently knock a young kid down and hurt it and I would never want to do that as it would make me feel very sad.

My idea home would be with an owner(s) that would give me lots of attention and loving, play with me and my toys, feed me at twice a day, give me plenty of water to drink, take me for walks, train me to follow rules, and help preserve my great health! I am crate trained too!

Thank you for reading my profile, I hope to hear from you soon!
