My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ROSIE is a sleek, affectionate dog who loves people and is extremely playful with other dogs. She would love a home with another dog to run and wrestle with. Rosie is a terrific family pet, a great size at around 40 pounds. She likes kids but doesn't necessarily want to engage the way children often need or want to.

She has a very strong prey instinct. She’ll be happy all day in a well-fenced yard patrolling for squirrels. She does not do well confined to an apartment. She should not be with or near cats. She tends to play hard with other dogs but is learning well to be less dominant.

She is beautifully crate-trained. She does love chew toys so needs to be monitored at first. She needs more basic training for recall and walking on leash. She needs an active home and a family which will stimulate her mentally as well as physically. She will need work on her recall when she is off leash anywhere she could get excited by squirrels or other critters!



But she's a great dog for an active, or work-at-home household!
