Spice's Story...
Spice is a beautiful husky who's being returned after over a year with an amazing family due to a change in the family circumstance. They are absolutely devastated to have to give her back but know it is the best thing for their amazing girl. Spice is great with kids, other dogs and in or outside of the house. She knows basic commands such as "high five", "sit", "lay down" and "rub belly". She's an energetic girl who loves to play with anyone. She pulls a bit on her leash, as is normal with this breed. A halti harness would help immensely. Spice has been introduced to cats and was very interested to chase but easily came when called with no further issues. She's not been kennel trained by her previous family as yet either. She loves stuffies and playing ball, and running outside. Ideally her new family would have lots of space for her to run daily. This sweet girl will go fast, adopt her today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spice, a Edmonton Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Edmonton, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Edmonton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmonton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmonton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmonton paves the way for another one to be saved.
