I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

STAR's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

STAR's Story...
STAR is ready to find her forever family...her new home should have a very secure fenced in yard. STAR's new family should be patient and kind, taking their time with STAR initially so she can learn to fully trust them. Experience with hounds would be great. In return, they will get a special gentle pet that will be grateful and loving...she is a shy, gentle dog so a slow introduction to her new surroundings will be important. STAR is a stunning beauty with beautiful markings. She is gentle as can be and smart as whip! After her ordeal in the shelter she needed time to relax, but once settled down, she has learned new tricks at her foster home. She can sit, speak, beg and lay down!!! It's actually quite amazing how quickly she has learned so much. We are so proud of her! She is about 2-3 years old and weieghs about 45-50 pounds. She is an American Foxhound with stunning markings! STAR is so deserving of a forever home for the holidays, do you have room for her in your family?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

STAR, a Toronto/GTA Foxhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Foxhound for sale in Toronto/GTA, or seeking a Foxhound dog from a breeder in Toronto/GTA.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto/GTA already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto/GTA breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Foxhound breeders who help with Foxhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto/GTA paves the way for another one to be saved.
