Spider's Story...
They call me Spider - but don't worry, I'm not like those creepy ones, I'm actually a very sweet Spider! I am an agile 2 year old and 5lb Chihuahua mix.

I am sweet but will play a little shy for a minute. Just one whole minute, especially if you have a lot of things and places to explore. I love to play with other dogs, toys, and nylabones. I've come a long way in learning just how wonderful laps are to snuggle into, or if you have a nice soft bed to curl up with as well. I'm a medium energy boy looking for a web, er home, of my own!

I am neutered, current on my shots, microchipped, dewormed, heart worm tested, seen by a vet, and ready to be adopted! For more information, and to schedule a telephone interview, email calicanrescue@gmail.com and CaliCan Rescue will contact you about me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spider, a Edmonton Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Edmonton, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Edmonton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmonton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmonton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmonton paves the way for another one to be saved.
