My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Little Leo has added so much excitement and JOY to The Ranch since the moment he arrived ! This little guy came to us from WV when his mom's house burned down :( His loving Aunt was able to take care of him and his brothers the last couple of months, until the day came that she was faced with fighting cancer. Leo's family loved him very much, and it was a difficult decision for them to find help to re-home him and his brothers.
Leo had different plans though, and the day we transported him back to The Ranch, Leo took off for the 35 acres behind the house. A team from Guardians of the Lost Pittsburgh, PA and our loving neighbors assisted us in finding him. After 5 days of independently camping in the woods, Leo came home unscathed. There wasn't a day that went by we weren't hiking through the woods with bacon, hoping for a miracle. The evening we found him in the trap our hearts were so overjoyed with happiness that tears of JOY rolled down our faces... we knew that Leo was safe and wanted to be found.
Leo, like his brothers, absolutely loves to snuggle on the couch and play with his chewy toys. Leo is not much of a walker and would prefer to run and play in the house most days. His foster family has been encouraging him to walk on the leash wearing a harness to make him feel more comfortable. Leo's new family can continue to provide him with more encouragement with his leash skills. Leo should have a fenced yard because new places are very overwhelming to him.
Leo is more timid than Heart and Foxy, and probably would thrive the best in an adult only home. Currently Leo lives with big dogs and small dogs in his foster home. Leo will need to go to a home that currently has a dog. His best friend here at The Ranch is Juno, a 30 lb, 6 month old lab/husky puppy. Juno and Leo love and snuggle each other and we know that makes Leo one happy Ranch foster. Leo will miss Juno's special kisses for sure.
Leo is a young boy, only 2 years old, but he does like to settle in at night and watch a little TV on your lap.
Leo is up to date on his vaccinations, micro-chipped, neutered, and heart-worm negative. Leo is crate trained and would love to have a fenced yard that he can learn to feel safe outside.

While Leo enjoys his time at The Ranch, he is ready for his furever home. Could it be yours?
