My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Keebler was rescued from a foreclosed home. He is approx 18 lbs and 3 yrs old. He is quiet. He loves his doggie bed and can usually be found curled up with his brother Keebler He seems to be pretty well house trained but will need leash training and he seems to do better in a harness. He is a really good dog, very quiet and well behaved and will make a really good companion. We had to shave him down as he was so matted. He was treated for heart worms is on a monthly preventative.

If you live in MA, there are new requirements for rescue dogs - according to the State Law, all rescues have to be quarantined for 48 hrs at the Ben Elder Kennels in Westport, MA. There is additional cost for this quarantine and new required health cert by a licensed MA vet of $110. We will go over all fees with you via email. Also, The state of MA does not allow adoptions of dogs that are heart worm positive. We are required to do a foster to adopt until the dog tests heart worm negative, usually in 4-6 months after treatment.
