Anna's Story...
This picture is me when I was found. I was about 3 weeks old and had lost my mom way to early. As you can see, I had some health problems, mostly I was skinny and could not get my insides to work right. My vet said I would be just fine and I am. I jsut needed to grow and have good food. Well folks I have to tell you my foster mom, mommy Cindy, has wonderful food and lots of love to give. She bottle fed me to get me started and then taught me how to eat big girl food and cuddled me and kept me safe. She says i'm rady now to go on my next journey. MY very own home. She says that's where you have people who care for you, play with you and love you forever. I can't believe any home could be better then this but my foster mom says a very own home is much better then foster care so tonight I am dreaming about my very own home. Am I dreaming about you????? I hope so cause I'd like to be in my very own home for Christmas. Please

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Anna, a Balto Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Balto, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Balto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Balto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Balto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Balto paves the way for another one to be saved.
