found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, housetrained, and up to date with shots.
My name is Yankee Doodle in honor of the Fourth of July. I was sitting on the sidewalk at a bus stop at a dangerous intersection when I noticed someone looking at me as they drove past so I said a prayer asking God to send someone to rescue me and guess what, I now believe in miracles because the car turned around. I was over joyed when the person called for me and gave me a quick pet. Than it was a bit scary for a few minutes as she picked me up and literally stuffed me in a carrier. I of course started meowing so she would know I was scared but she talked to me as we drove away and I knew life was looking up.
Off to the vet I went and the staff was so impressed with my good looks and sweet personality. Wow, they haven't seen anything yet wait until I get settled in and relax, hopefully they'll rave about me so I can find a family that I can love. I was sitting on a Lucky Cat volunteers lap and purred really loud and she was smiling at me which made me feel happy again to see a friendly face and know everything is going to be just fine.
Okay, I love to show off and roll around showing off my handsome belly The girls all said my eyes will make your heart melt and my sweet temperament is awesome. I hope they are right, so I can be a Yankee Doodle in your home and celebrate the Fourth of July with my forever family.
Please send me an email if you think we would be a great match. Oh, by the way, while I was at vet, a big dog greeted me and I wasn't afraid and someone said I am very brave and probably lived with a dog in my past. Sorry to write such a long note but I'm so excited about being rescued and having a chance to find a forever family that I can love and they will love me too. Happy Fourth of July and God bless you!
