Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Zippy, a year old husky/lab cross, is the only male cast member in his mama dog, Star’s, “All My Children” dog adventure story, now playing at Tri-County Animal Rescue Center. If Zippy looks like a small, hairless elephant in his photo it is because he has a bad case of dermatophytic mange, which is not contagious. Zippy is receiving medical attention for his skin condition and in time, with proper care, his fur will come back, and he will be as gorgeous as his mom and sisters. Like his mom and sisters, Zippy is on the smaller side, probably weighing about 30 or 35 pounds. While Zippy may look frightful on the outside right now, on the inside Zippy has a heart of gold--he is such a loving, gentle little guy. Zippy rides well in the car; at the crowded vet’s office he received multiple compliments from various pet owners for his calm and gentlemanly behavior towards the other dogs and cats that were waiting with Zippy for their vet appointments. To meet Zippy, contact Tri-County Animal Rescue Center on Facebook, or call 814-918-2032, or email: contactus@Tricounty-arc.org
