I am up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Bear's Story...
Life was great, as far as Bear was concerned. He was happy, well cared for and had a golden retriever buddy he loved to play with. Then one day he found himself at animal control. We wish we could tell him that it wasn't his fault. His owner lost her job and had to make life changes to accommodate that loss. Bear and his buddy no longer fit in the picture unfortunately.

Bear is smart, knows some basic commands and loves to play. He's confident and well-adjusted. He gets along with other dogs too! He's 2 1/2 years young, 55 lbs and healthy.

Help us show Bear that this set-back isn't permanent and he can be happy again in a new home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bear, a Marietta Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
