It will be a lucky day for both you and this great dog when Lucky becomes a part of your family! He is very upbeat and smart. Give him what he needs, and you will receive more in return than you were even looking for. He is very social and playful. If a human is not available to play, he occupies himself by tossing a tennis ball and running after it, nudges a bone along the floor, and sometimes runs laps around the house. He wants to meet everyone he encounters on walks in the neighborhood and at the park. Sometimes, Lucky has a furrowed brow that makes him look puzzled or curious. He has a great belly just waiting to be rubbed and he gladly turns on his back, stretches his back legs out to the max and enjoys the attention and the human connection. He loves children and will wag his tail, affectionately lick their faces and retrieve tennis balls as long as they continue to thrown them. Lucky also loves other dogs, male and female. He sometimes sits to watch them when they are at a distance. He always stands and wags his tail when they get close. As for cats, he is curious and tentative but does not chase. He would likely get along well with a gentler kitty. Lucky does very well on leash walks.
Lucky is a male/n Labrador Retriever mix born ~January 2015 and should weigh approximately 55-60 pounds full grown. He is crate trained up to a few hours and housebroken.

Our adoption fee is $250 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue. We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
