Scarlett TG's Story...
This adorable little girl is Scarlett, she is not just cute, she’s funny, playful and a complete love bug too, and she really is the full package. She is very shy in new situations, and will take a little time to warm up, but once she does, you've got love for life! She loves drinking water from the faucet, and really loves eating canned kitty food. She also enjoys napping on the window ledge, looking out at the birds, and other critters.

Scarlett has been spayed, is microchipped, current on all vaccinations, including rabies, and tested negative for Feline leukemia/Fiv.

If you are interested in adopting Scarlett, or simply finding out more about her, please go to www.homesforpets.org and complete an adoption application. Her adoption fee $75.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scarlett TG, a Schertz Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Schertz, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Schertz.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Schertz already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Schertz breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Schertz paves the way for another one to be saved.
