Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Grace is a gorgeous purebred Bernese Mt Dog pup, is almost 10 months old. She is a little shy with strangers, but very gentle, and warms up quickly. Likes to put her head on your knee and look up, as if she were smiling! Grace us pretty calm for a puppy but still likes to play, is good with other dogs, fine with our cat. She was surrendered to us from an Ohio Amish "commercial breeder" (aka puppy mill) because she has symtpomatic hip dysplasia, and would not be a good candidate to breed and make money selling puppies. She can still run and play, but is likely to need surgery for her hips down the road, so a potential owner must be financially and emotionally prepared to give her the medical care she needs for her lifetime. ~ Fine with other dogs. Healthy, neutered, had recent bloodwork, vet exam, etc.~~ PLEASE NOTE: A securely fenced yard is required for all dog adoptions, especially young dogs of large active breeds. No shock collar "invisible fences." ~ For more info on this breed, please go to: www.BMDINFO.org and to www.BMDCA.org ~~ To compare this breed to others, please see www.YourPurebredPuppy.com
