Brendan's Story...
BRENDAN is a "teen-aged kitten", about seven months old and very sweet. He was wandering around the neighborhood and wouldn’t leave (smart kitty). The people who took him in could not accommodate another cat, but wanted to find him a good home before winter. He is friendly, outgoing, and playful, they said, and gets along OK with kids and other cats.

Brendan is a short-haired brown-gray tiger with white, and has a little kink in his tail. He is not afraid to ask for what he wants. Now that he has moved into one of the main rooms, he is having a lot of fun playing with the other young cats in the room. He hangs out with Dale - they are about the same age, and they chase each other through the tunnels and among the cat trees. He has no fear, and is not intimidated by the big boys.

Brendan would be a wonderful addition to your home. Come on over and have a look!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brendan, a Milford Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Milford, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Milford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Milford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Milford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Milford paves the way for another one to be saved.
