My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Joe! I am a male senior German Shepard!
I am a gentle lamb. Submissive and tied at the hip of my sister Moe. A mellow dude who seeks out attention and guidance from humans. I accept all things with love and gentleness. Age is wearing on me. I have bad back/hips and I am on arthritis medication to maintain comfort. The medication does wonders for me and there is a noticeable difference in my mobility and personality when I am on it regularly. W.O.O.F. Pet Rescue would like to, if at all possible, keep me together with my sister Moe. I do have serious separation depression when they take my sister away. I have lived with my sister for our whole lives. We would like to remain that way until we cross the rainbow bridge. The together we do not do well with other animals and need a home that is prepared to cater to this need and has solid wood fencing. Separated I may do OK with other low energy and submissive pets. I have lived through a rough life on a chain until old age when my owner passed away and now looking to live the good life for retirement.
