O~M~G!!!! I am amazed what life outside of a backyard breeding facility is all about!! My name is Storm aka Stormy and I have spent the first 3 years of my life makin babies for profit but am thrilled to say that those days are behind me now!! please read my whole bio because I important tbings to tell you about me so you can see if we are a match. Some of the things you should know about me....I am not used to being indoors all the time so I will need some patience with getting used to loud noises like dishawashers, loud tv, vacuums while I am shy I am very loving!!!! I love to sit on your lap. Now I am over 30 lbs so I am not exactly a traditional lap dog but my foster mom makes exception for me since I am still getting used to life as a family member. I am great with all other dogs! I am a good boy in my crate and that helps with my potty training. I am scared of riding in cars and walking on leashes since up til recently I had never experiences either but if you have patience with me I promise to do my best. I will also need consistency with my potty training as well since up to this point I just "went" wherever I pleased!! In the meantime his foster mom uses a "belly band". If you have not heard of this look it up b/c it is great tool to use for dogs who have never been afforded the luxury of living indoors and being trained to go only outside. The good news?? Well, even though I had not been exposed to lots of humans prior to now...I LOVE YOU ALL!! I am experiencing this overwhelming urge to be a bit to friendly (aka "hump") my foster doggie siblings and that is being addressed by using a water spray bottle. Trust me, when I get sprayed in the head with cold water that sudden urge dissipates quickly!! I have lots of catching up to do and am seeing the world thru puppy eyes....wanna join me?? please also be sure to read about cocker spaniels and their need for very regular grooming which can be expensive and also about regular ear care. So now time to be true to yourself. you have the patience and time to care for me, if so go fill out the application and let me show you what pure joy on 4 legs looks like!! love, storm xoxoxo

The application is at: WWW.CTHAR.ORG

Why Adoption is a Great Option

STORM**3 YR OLD BALL OF ENERGY!!, a Mentor Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Mentor, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Mentor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mentor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mentor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mentor paves the way for another one to be saved.
