Mindy's Story...
Mindy was found near State Route 47 and State Route 65 in Jackson Center. She is a friendly little girl. She loves to go out on walks outside and a chance to explore her surroundings. She does appear to have been in a house prior to coming to the shelter as she does not like to make messes in her cage. She loves to jump on your lap and snuggle. She is currently looking for her new forever home. Come meet her at the animal shelter today! The Shelby County Animal Shelter is open Monday-Friday from 9-5 and Saturday from 9-1.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mindy, a Sidney Jack Russell Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Sidney, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Sidney.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sidney already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sidney breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sidney paves the way for another one to be saved.
