Lily's Story...
Sweet Lily is wondering why she is the only one who hasn't found a home! She is a super sweet, three month old German Shepherd/Ridgeback mix puppy available for adoption. She is about 15 pounds and very much a pup, the pictures always make the pup look bigger.
Lily loves kids and other dogs and we feel she'd also be good with cats. She is a very sweet and easy going gal. Doing great on house and crate training.
Microchipped, first round of vaccines and worming.
Super sweet and friendly hoping to find a forever home of her own.
$150 adoption donation.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lily, a Austin German Shepherd Dog/Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Rhodesian Ridgeback for sale in Austin, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Rhodesian Ridgeback breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Rhodesian Ridgeback rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
