Erica's Story...
My name is Erica and I am a 2 year old Shepherd mix. I was rescued by CARE of San Antonio, TX from a kill shelter. Thankfully, they saw what an awesome girl I was and put me with an awesome foster as well. I am house trained, and walk well on a leash. I even know sit and stay! I am very eager to please, and love staying close to my people. I am fairly calm, I enjoy relaxing around the house with my favorite toy. I would be a great addition to a family that could show me endless amounts a love, and I have tons of love to give back! My adoption fee is $125

Please apply to adopt here: http://caretx.org/forms/ and CARE will be in touch with you ASAP!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Erica, a San Antonio Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
