Annabelle's Story...
Annabelle was put in the drop box at shelter with no reason given. You can tell this little girl was beloved by someone, we think an older person. Annabelle is a clear red with a graying face. She was quite chunky when she came into rescue at 14.7 lbs she is now 11.5 lbs & could stand to lose another pound or two. She is a little bit piggy and will steal food and treats if not watched. Shelter said she might by hypothyroid, or might just be from being overweight. At any rate, she does not waddle as much anymore, will scamper around, and loves to play with toys, once she has gotten used to her environment. She can be a little bossy as to it is her lap she is sitting, or laying beside her person. Annabelle is not housebroken, she will go outside sometimes when asked, but will also look at me saying ummmmm no. She does use the potty pads (sometimes hit and miss) She will nip at your legs if you do not get her treats, food fast enough, or attention. She does need some training on taking treats gently...its the little piggy thing coming out in her. Otherwise a sweet little girl, Annabelle will make someone who will offer her a lap, a nice spot in bed for her to cuddle, and lots of love and attention several more years of devotion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Annabelle, a Holland Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Holland, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Holland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Holland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Holland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Holland paves the way for another one to be saved.
