Hello! I’m Edgar! I’m approximately 3 years old and I weigh 56 lbs.
I was found as a stray in the Beloit area and I was picked up by the pound.
I am a very sweet and loving boy so I just can’t figure out why I have been here since October 2015.
The girls here at the pound think I’m just the “bestest boy”!! I am very affectionate and I’m relatively calm for being a younger dog. I am great inside and I even seem to be housebroken. When I first come in to the office to run around and play, sometimes I will start to try to mark, but if you yell at me, I stop and don’t try to do it again.
I LOVE to play ball!! I will go get it and bring it right back. I also let you take it from me so you can throw it again. When I’m done playing, I’m done though. I then want my own time to play and rest and I prefer to be left alone.
I am VERY PROTECTIVE of my area and “home” and I will protect it from strangers. I kind of bark at people when I’m in my kennel, but I don’t really mean it. I’m just protecting my space.
I get along well with most other dogs! I really do well with female dogs. I am also good with male dogs as long as they don’t try to dominate me or act aggressive towards me.
I love to run around and play with other dogs too.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.

PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER OCTOBER 26, 2015.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.

MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.

THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
