Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sonny is a very sweet, friendly Yorkie. He loves to be around his person and follows them everywhere. He is not happy to be closed in a crate unless you are right there but likes to go into the crate with the door open. At home he is housebroken but if there are other dogs in home at first he may try to mark. But when caught at the first attempt he never marked again. Sonny sleeps all night in a dog bed in your bedroom without any accident even with access to home. He likes to sleep in late and stays in bed even after foster fur mates have gone outside. Even petting and rubbing his belly doesn’t get him moving. When he hears the breakfast bowls he’s up & ready for his day. He knows to sit&will wait but needs reinforcement. He’s learning to walk on leash but when outside attempts to get to a place to mark even when allhis pee was used. Sonny is very quiet & is not a barker. He is very smart. Sonny has a partially collapsed trachea so Sonny easily takes ½ a pill each morning & night that is working well for him. Sonny gets along well with other small dogs. He weighs 8 pounds.
He just had his teeth cleaned & has all his teeth, lab work done, is neutered, microchipped & vaccinated. If you are interested in Sonny please go to our website www.yorkierescueofamerica.org and fill out an adoption application. We are a volunteer run rescue so please give us a few days to respond to inquires. Thank you
