Gromit's Story...
Hi I’m Gromit. I’m a happy boy that loves to love. I will lay my head on your leg or nudge you and wait for you to pet me. Scratches and belly rubs are my favorite. I’m a pretty calm dog with very good house manners. I never bark or get on the furniture, and I’ll go to the back door when I want to go out. I’ll chew on a toy on my dog bed most of the time. I sleep quietly on my dog bed at night and quietly in my crate while my foster mom is gone. I don’t need a lot of exercise so I’d be good in a home that wants to do short walks or has a yard for me to play in. I ride well in a car and I play well at the dog park. I currently share my home with doggie brothers and sisters and I play well with them but I’m happy alone too. I don’t care about cats so I could share my home with them too. I’m about 60 lbs, neutered, up to date on vaccines, on heartworm and flea preventative, and microchipped. I am currently located in Huntsville, AL but I am not picky where I end up as long as I am loved. To meet me, please fill out our application here: http://forrescue.net/dog-application/ or email us at info@FORrescue.net for more information

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gromit, a Reynoldsburg Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Reynoldsburg, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Reynoldsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Reynoldsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Reynoldsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Reynoldsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
