Lego (5 pounds)'s Story...
Lego is one lucky boy, indeed. He and his friend Lilac were dumped out by the river in a small town in central Missouri. Two good Samaritans found and captured them then spent a month trying to find their owners. No one came forward for these two little darlings so to rescue they came. Lego is the sweetest little guy! He loves attention, he gets along fine with the other dogs in his foster home and he's just Mr. Happy Pants! We think that Lego is only about 2 years old. He is a bitty boy at only 5 pounds, 5 ounces. Lego was recently adopted by a friend of mine and, although she agreed that he is the sweetest boy, he was not playing nicely with her miniature pig! For that reason, Lego came back to rescue. So if you have a house pig, Lego is not your boy, Lego is neutered, up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, on heartworm/flea prevention, microchipped and has had a dental cleaning. His adoption fee is $250 with all vet work done.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lego (5 pounds), a House Springs Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in House Springs, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in House Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in House Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a House Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in House Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
