Danny's Story...
This handsome Hound boy is currently sitting in a rural shelter in TN. He was picked up as a stray with another Hound. Another rescue pulled his buddy and left him there alone as they only had room for one. Shelter staff tells us that this poor boy is heartbroken. All our foster homes are full right now; but we so much want to save this boy. He is very sweet and friendly and does get along with other dogs. He is young approx. 1 1/2 to 2 yrs of age. Hounds do make wonderful pets and nice mannered house pets also. They are very loving, loyal and very smart Also most Hounds have a goofy sense of humor and will keep you entertained!. As soon as we can find a Forever home for Danny, he will go to the vet and get neutered and all his shots, flea meds etc...everything.... up to date. Won't you please consider Danny...you won't be sorry! If you would like to add this sweetheart to your family, please contact lorainecm@comcast.net or omlc7@hotmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Danny, a Allentown Redbone Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Redbone Coonhound for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Redbone Coonhound dog from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Redbone Coonhound breeders who help with Redbone Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
