Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Burton is a cute little 3 year old maybe /Rat terrier/Pug mix guy. When you first meet Burt he is a little timid. He warms up quickly once he realizes he is safe. Burt is one of the funniest, comical dogs! He loves to be near his people, following them everywhere. Just saying "Walk" he can jump 4 feet up in his excitement over and over. He wants to be part of the family from patiently watching dinner being prepared (in hopes of catching a nibble or two) to snuggling up in bed with you. He is very observant, constantly watching and listening to his surroundings. He would love a home that would take him with them on outings. He is a guy looking for adventures. Burton has not had a lot of experience in public, so whoever adopts him will need to help him gradually experience the world out there. Adoption fee is $300.

We do our best to match families and dogs so everyone is pleased and the placement is permanent. We reserve the right to refuse an applicant if the home situation is incompatible with the needs of the rescue dog. Rescue is about doing our best for the dog. We do home and reference checks. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and are up to date with current vaccinations, before being placed in their forever homes.
