My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am a male Chihuahua. I am about 8 years old and weigh about 8 lbs. I am neutered, heartworm negative, current on shots, micro-chipped and on flea/heartwororm prevention. My adoption is $250.

I was originally rescued from animal control where I was impounded as a stray. I need a home without small children because if grabbed at or frightened, I might nip. I was adopted back in 2016 but was recently returned to the rescue. I need a home with a responsible owner who can keep me from getting out of the house and/or yard. If I escape or dart out of the door, I will guard my house and try to bite people. I will also bite anyone that comes into the home. I will chase them and bite the back of their leg.. But in the home and under control of my owner, I am a sweet boy.

I do not need to be an only dog in the home but if other dogs get too close to me, I will growl and chase them away or hide under furniture.

The pets are available to be seen at our adoption events on weekends at the Petsmart in Altamonte Springs on Saturday from 11-4:30 and Sunday from 12-4:30.
