My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BELVEDERE was named after the dog from the classic comic strip. He is a FANTASTIC 16 week old puppy. He lives in a foster home with other dogs, a cat, and a 4 year old little girl. He is excellent with everyone. He is always happy and ready for an adventure or a good cuddle session. He became instant best friend with the 4 year old girl in his foster home. They are attached at the hip. BELVEDERE loves car rides and knows not to potty in his crate. He is a smart boy and is mastering house training faster than most. He is also doing very well on his leash walking! BELVEDERE is the ideal family dog and is ready to fill his forever home with love, puppy kisses, and a constantly wagging tail.

BELVEDERE will be microchipped and be vaccinated as many times as age will allow when he arrives at his forever home.
His $450 adoption fee includes interstate health certificate and transport to the Midwest.

All of our pets start their journey in Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted at which time they travel via transport to their new forever home. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters.

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Blues City is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
