My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Xena is not a warrior, she's just a princess. This princess is a super cute 3 year old Spaniel/Beagle mix. Xena was surrendered to Friendship because her owners both got new jobs and didn't have time for her any longer. This smart girl knows her basic commands, enjoys car rides and is a social butterfly. Xena is a very energetic girl that would be a great running partner or agility dog. She can jump a chain link fence. Xena has been with small children but can get over-excited and forgets her size. She's great with kids over the age of 6. Xena DOES NOT LIKE CATS and has a high prey drive so if she were adopted by a family with a small dog she might have an issue. This pretty girl is a loving cuddler during family time. Xena is a little nervous at the shelter. Please take it slow when visiting.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
